Amorepacific Corporation announced its latest partnership with the world superstar boy band, BTS. The South Korean beauty and cosmetic manufacturer is launching the newest flavor in its Lip Sleeping Mask line, and it will be a limited edition set.
Amorepacific said that it is a 3-piece BTS set of lip tints, and this is the company’s second collaboration with the Billboard chart topper group. This latest tie-up will honor the band’s most popular recent song releases that, include “Dynamite,” "Butter," and "Permission to Dance."
These titles are matched with three LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask flavors to create the BTS - Amorepacific Lip Sleeping Mask Lip & Pop Edition Set. it was noted that this collaboration follows the successful first team-up for a limited-edition product release last year.
The new set of the iconic LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask will feature the addition of the Butter flavor, which was not included in the first release of the lip tint line. It will also have the favorite Peach Iced Tea flavor, which will surely be a treat to Amorepacific’s customers and BTS fans.
“The theme for this highly anticipated collaboration is 'Love Your Lips, Feels Like POP!', which takes its inspiration from several of BTS' record-breaking hits including ‘Butter,’ ‘Permission to Dance,’ and ‘Dynamite,’” Amorepacific stated in a press release. “The Lip Sleeping Mask Lip & Pop Edition packaging features an image of a turntable, and the Lip Sleeping Mask jars are a nod to artwork from BTS album jackets, making them highly coveted collectibles.”
The cosmetic maker said that the newest Butter flavor smells like buttered popcorn and is apparently referring to BTS’ hit song as well. The Peach Iced Tea is inspired by the band’s PTD single, while the Sweet Candy flavored lip tint represents the “Dynamite” song piece.
Amorepacific said that The BTS | Amorepacific Lip Sleeping Mask Lip & Pop Edition Set is coming to Thailand and Singapore on Oct. 24, Malaysia on Oct. 29, Indonesia and Philippines on Nov. 11. These will be sold in Lazada Shopping, Laneige official store, and Shopee depending on the location.
