Apple users can now trade bitcoins on 'Unocoin' mobile app

Indian-based Unocoin, a popular bitcoin wallet, has announced that it has launched bitcoin trading mobile app on Apple store with its Android version to release soon.

According to the official release, the application will support TouchID and passcode feature for security and features a dedicated one-touch button to buy or sell bitcoin. The dashboard hosts the user’s BTC and INR wallet and comes with an interactive 24-hour price graph timeline.

“A lot of thought has gone into the design and user interface of this mobile application. We wanted to be sure that we are offering a seamless user experience for our customers. We built it from the ground up with the aim of making it the easiest bitcoin app in the world.” Abhinand Kaseti, co-founder, and CMO of Unocoin said.

Other features of the app include an option to send and request bitcoin in the BTC wallet and add/withdraw INR functionality in the INR wallet. The app also includes mobile/DTH recharge and SIP (systematic investment plan).

In April this year, Unocoin announced the launch of its merchant point-of-sale mobile app, called “Unocoin PoS” for both Android and iOS devices, which will make it easier for physical stores in India to accept bitcoin for products and services.

Unocoin is a simple, safe and secure way of buying, selling, sending, receiving and storing bitcoins in India. Founded in 2013, Unocoin became the first Indian bitcoin start-up to be funded internationally in August 2014 with an investment of US$250,000 from Barry Silbert, founder, and CEO of Digital Currency Group.
