Associa Hawaii Hires Phyllis Okada Kacher as New Chief Business Development Officer

Honolulu, HI, Jan. 11, 2018 -- Associa Hawaii hires Phyllis Okada Kacher as the new chief business development officer. In her new role, Ms. Kacher will focus on leading Associa Hawaii’s business development team and continuing to grow the diverse portfolio of clients and communities.

Ms. Kacher joins Associa Hawaii with more than 20 years of experience in the community management industry with an expertise in business development and marketing. Prior to joining Associa Hawaii, Ms. Kacher served as the senior executive vice president of the Hawaiiana Management Company where she was responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies. Her efforts resulted in unprecedented growth of new contracts and clients. Ms. Kacher also served as the vice president of marketing for the Oahu and Kauai real estate division of Amfac/JMB Hawaii L.L.C. During her time there she was a member of the Waikele development team, president of the Waikele Community Association and chairman of the Modifications Construction Committee. She also served as president of the Hawaii Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and vice president of Chaney, Brooks & Company.

Ms. Kacher was named a two-time finalist for Businesswoman of the Year by Pacific Business News and received the Hawaii Council of Community Associations - Making a Difference award.  She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and real estate broker. She graduated with a B.B.A. Degree in Marketing from the University of Puget Sound.
