The anime community has to face the truth over the past week that their favorite shows will be on hiatus due to the COVID-19. While this is generally sad news, fans of Asta and other Magic Knights will have bigger things to look forward to in “Black Clover” episode 133.
‘Black Clover’ episode 133 predictions, spoilers
Asta and the rest of the Clover Kingdom Magic Knights continue their training as the war against Spade Kingdom’s devil approaches. “Black Clover” episode 133 will pick up from this week’s cliffhanger. Black Bulls and Crimson Lions went through underneath the Yultim Volcano to train. Reaching the underground cave was not too difficult for Asta, Leopold, and Noelle, but that was not the entirety of the mission.
They fought a giant spider that Mereoleona once thought was just a mutated monster that evolved underground. But she deduced the creature possesses mana that was not innate to it, leading to her conclusion that it was man-made through the use of an ancient curse. They then discovered a mysterious dungeon that was unknown even to Mereoleona, but it is going to be the focus of “Black Clover” episode 133.
Whatever is hidden in the dungeon will most likely reveal more information about the giant spider. And it is also very possible to be a threat to the Magic Knights as “Black Clover” episode 133 preview shows Asta and the others getting into another fight. Ancient curses have been one of the running themes in the latest arcs of the series, so whatever they would find in that dungeon could also provide more information about the upcoming war and the devil in the Spade Kingdom.
‘Black Clover’ episode 133 release date delayed
As mentioned, a hiatus has been announced after the airing of this week’s installment. Simply put, “Black Clover” episode 133 is delayed, and making it worse is that there is no specific timeline about this break.

While fans were saddened by this news, it was something that can be easily understood given the COVID-19 crisis. To protect anime producers and animators, work on upcoming episodes for many shows have been postponed. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has placed Japan under a state of emergency because of the pandemic until May 6.
The release date of “Black Clover” episode 133 is not set in stone yet, but it likely depends on the situation of the public health in Japan in the coming months. If the state of emergency would be lifted or extended might affect the broadcast schedules, too.
