Briferendum Series: Results show Scoxit is a threat

Results that have come out so far doesn’t look good for the unity of the United Kingdom and not for Prime Minister David Cameron, should the people vote to leave the union. First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon has warned that she would seriously consider another independence vote if Scotland is taken out of the European Union against the will of its people. So far it looks like that Scotland will be voting to stay.

So far in England, 43.9 percent voted in favor of staying in the Union. That number is 45.6 percent for Wales. On the contrary, Scotland has so far voted 62.9 percent in favor of staying inside the Union. Northern Ireland has also voted in favor of staying inside the Union with 55.9 percent favoring a stay.

The national count shows, with 27 percent of all votes counted “Remain” camp is leading by 0.6 percentage points and currently at 50.3 percent.

The market is continuing the swings. The pound is currently trading at 1.437 against the Dollar.
