Metals are having a down day to start off the week. Performance this week at a glance in chart & table -

Gold -

  • Gold is down, failing to gain from Greek tension. No major safe haven bids over gold today, as Greeks voted no. Today's range - $1175-$1162
  • Gold is currently trading at $1167/troy ounce. Immediate support lies at $1152 and resistance at $1224, $1236-1240 area.

Silver -

  • Silver gained today after support around $15.5 held last week. Today's range $15.75-$15.5
  • Silver is currently trading at $15.73/troy ounce. Support lies at $15.42 & resistance at $17.5-17.7, 18.4-18.7.

Copper -

  • Copper dropped sharply as expected. Today's range $2.61 - 2.50
  • Keep holding onto copper short, targeting $2.41. However partial profit booking is suggested since first target at $2.51 was hit,
  • Copper is currently trading at $2.53/pound, immediate support lies at $2.5 & resistance at $2.75, $2.84, $2.89, $2.95.
