‘Dr. Stone’ episode 20 air date, spoilers: Chrome and Kaseki created an important machine and Senku is impressed

“Dr. Stone” episode 20 is coming and there are only a few episodes left before the finale. Since the end is near, the storyline is developing fast and the mystery behind the petrification of humanity could be revealed soon.

The anime is now on its second cour and with 24 episodes in all, there are only four more chapters left for the fans to watch after “Dr. Stone” episode 20. As posted on Crunchyroll, “Dr. Stone” episode 20 has been titled “The Age of Energy” and it is about shifting from manpower to using the power of nature to help with the inventions.

Senku and the gang will work and find out why humanity was petrified. They will also be able to create more weapons and tools in an attempt to bring civilization back to normal. On top of trying to save everyone, they also had to deal with their greedy foes who want to steal their inventions for their own gain.

What will happen next?

“Dr. Stone” episode 20 will show Senku becoming the village chief and with his scientific knowledge, they are aiming to create a mobile phone that they can use to communicate and know when their enemies are coming. Senku said that they would need to create radio waves and to achieve this they need to make conductors that they will make using gold.

But before this, Senku suggested that they should make a cotton candy machine first in “Dr. Stone” episode 20. It turned out that there is a reason for this because this is the same machine that they will use to make the gold threads to make the conductor. When candy powder is placed on the machine, it creates threads and this is how they will make the wires.

The end of manpower and birth of nature-powered machine

However, they need manpower to spin the machine and it requires huge efforts from the villagers to spin the machine and make the gold wires. Just then, Chrome came up with an idea and shared it with the expert craftsman Kaseki and they were gone for three days.

When Chrome comes back to the village in “Dr. Stone” episode 20, he looked beat up and called Senku to come to the river and everyone was surprised at what they saw, Chrome and Kaseki built a machine that is being run by water and they can use this instead of manual spinning to make the wires.

They just created the first hydroelectric power plant thus shifting the manual labor to energy powered by nature. Now, they can finally turn the gold into wires and make conductors for their ultimate goal of making the cellphone.

“Dr. Stone” episode 20 was already released on Nov. 15 but this is the Japanese version. As per Fandom Wiki, the English edition’s air date has been set on Nov. 29.
