Atlanta will be hosting a blockchain event for payments and financial services innovators on 27 February 2017 that aims to drive blockchain movement forward for a day of critical dialogue and networking.
The ‘Distributed: Markets Blockchain Conference’ will gather over 60 eminent speakers from the industry including Patrick Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com, Brian Behlendorf, executive director of Hyperledger, Rob Palatnick, chief technical architect of the DTCC, and Sandra Ro, executive director of digitization for CME Group, among others.
The conference key speakers will discuss the disruptive opportunities of blockchain technology in payments and financial services sector.

The conference expects 500+ attendees including local and global leaders and players in payments and financial services, enterprise C-level executives, founders of high-growth startups, software and other tech professionals.
The event will have series of panel discussions, demos and a 24-hour blockchain hackathon that will run on February 25 and 26. The hackathon will attract entrepreneurs, developers, and designers to compete for $15,000 in prizes.
