The report outlines the company’s sustainability strategy which covers eight focus areas: Health, Safety & Wellbeing, the Environment; Governance; Employees; Product Sustainability and Innovation; Economic Growth; Community Engagement; and Supply Chain Management.
Key highlights from 2015 include:
- Reduction in resource usage (per tonne of product produced) of Energy, Greenhouse Gases, Hazardous Waste and Water usage
- A total of 1,372 employees and contractors taking part in Innospec online compliance training programs
- Ongoing support of charities with almost $150,000 raised through participation in a number of fund raising and sponsorship events
- Strong financial performance with annual sales exceeding US$1 billion
- Independent assurance of report to the globally recognised AA1000 Assurance standard for the first time.
