Contrary to what many fans expected, even though Deku displayed a clear lack of control over his Quirk, the match between 1A and 1B was allowed to continue. In “My Hero Academia” Chapter 216, this match will likely end with Deku emerging victorious over Shinso. As results go, this might seem underwhelming, but the gravity of the implications is not to be underestimated.
As BlastingNews reports, the capture of Shinso by Deku in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 216 is practically guaranteed. Even at only eight percent power, the enhancer is still using One-For-All. With this being the case, the character with the mind control Quirk will have a tough time breaking free.
Then again, there is still a chance that Shinso can escape using the wraps that he got from Aizawa. If he can use it in a clever manner, he could take Deku by surprise and drop a pipe on top of him or something. It’s just a shame that the successor of All Might will not be able to use the black whips in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 216.
As perceptive readers likely already know, the new Quirk is not possible for Deku to use freely unless he can master One-For-All. Then again, if he is able to do this, in the first place, no one would be able to match him. “My Hero Academia” Chapter 216 would end in a split second with all of 1B behind bars.
Fans can only hope that “My Hero Academia” Chapter 216 will hold more surprises with regards to the conclusion of the match. Deku capturing Shinso might be expected, but it would also be completely boring. Then again, the development could also come with consequences for both characters. Readers will see this for themselves when the chapter is released on Feb. 11.
