‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 10 Episode 13 Air Date, Spoilers, Plot: Upcoming Release Resembles 2017 Syrian Incident

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 Episode 13 appears to be similar to the chemical attack that took place in Syria two years ago. It’s no secret by now that TV shows dealing with criminal acts – be it terrorism or chilling murders – take inspiration from real life events.

While this isn’t confirmed just yet, the synopsis of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 Episode 13 does closely resemble the Syrian incident in 2017. The summary explains that the NCIS team will be working with the Global Criminal Tribunal after a Syrian named David Sarraf (Eyas Younis) is attacked, CarterMatt reported.

The incident is believed to be politically motivated since David was supposed to deliver evidence that would prove that chemical weapons are being used on civilians. Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will also be stepping into the spotlight in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 Episode 13 as she attempts to comfort David in his final moments.

The team’s effort will be focusing on the capture of whoever is behind the attack and possibly the retrieval of the evidence being carried by David. As for the details of this chemical weapon, showrunners are keeping a close lid on its nature. However, if “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 Episode 13 does mention that the killing agent is derived from Sarin or a Sarin-like substance, then the plot is indeed inspired by the Khan Sheikhoun attack.

The incident is one of the most horrific events that took place in 2017 as those who perished from the poisonous gas were mostly children. Victims exhibited foaming in the mouth, constricted pupils, bluish colorization of the lips and face – all of which is consistent to the symptoms of the Sarin nerve agent. The attack left 89 people killed and over 500 injured. “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 Episode 13 is set to air on Jan. 13 and could potentially revive the outrage of the Syrian incident over on social media.
