There was a time when some critics within the gaming community were not very much impressed with the library of video games available on Nintendo Switch upon the hardware’s launch. But those days are likely over because, in this week alone, people using the hybrid portable console have several popular titles to look forward to.
“Luigi's Mansion 3” has officially launched on Nintendo Switch in time for the Halloween. Also, the highly anticipated “Pokémon Sword” and “Pokémon Shield” is made available for preloading with two weeks left before its actual release date.
Nintendo Switch players can celebrate Halloween with ‘Luigi’s Mansion 3’
Nintendo found the perfect title to offer Switch players this Halloween. “Luigi’s Mansion 3” maintains the series’ staple theme filled with references to haunted houses and enemy ghosts. For the first time, the game series has launched on Nintendo Switch.
“Luigi’s Mansion 3” is now live on Nintendo Switch and available for $59.99 with a download size of 6.4 GB. The third iteration is focused on the haunted Last Resort hotel, where Luigi has to save Mario and his other friends. Players can do so by solving puzzles and fighting ghosts. Its gameplay allows up to eight players through local wireless or internet connections.
Since the game has already gone live, Nintendo Switch users can simply purchase “Luigi’s Mansion 3” online and prompt the download process through the Nintendo eShop on the console. After purchasing, players should make sure their Switch has a stable internet connection.
Nintendo Switch games: ‘Pokémon Sword’ and ‘Pokémon Shield’ now available for preload; Games go live in 2 weeks
Nintendo Switch players should also be looking forward to the newest video game getting released under the “Pokémon” franchise, namely the role-playing adventure games “Pokémon Sword” and “Pokémon Shield.” Each game requires 10 GB of free storage and available for $59.99 with a confirmed release date on Friday, Nov. 15.
Keep in mind that these games are sold and played separately, like other titles in the franchise. After buying the game, preloading it onto the Nintendo Switch console can be prompted through the eShop or the game’s official pages on the Nintendo website.
Nintendo Switch players who will buy the games early are eligible for some exclusive in-game items. Purchasing before Jan. 15, 2020 rewards players with a Gigantamax Meowth and 12 Quick Balls.
