CLEVELAND, Jan. 09, 2018 -- For more than 20 years, Pixar animated movies have raised the bar when it comes to creativity and storytelling. That’s why Content Marketing Institute (CMI) is excited to announce that master storyteller and 20-year Pixar animator, Andrew Gordon, will deliver the closing keynote at Intelligent Content Conference (ICC) 2018. ICC, the premier content strategy event for marketers, will be held March 20-22, 2018 at the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Having joined Pixar in 1997, Gordon has been part of the animation team on numerous films, including “Finding Nemo”, “Monsters Inc.”, “The Incredibles” and “Toy Story 3”. As an expert on character and story, Gordon knows that stories matter-- and not just when it comes to movies. Storytelling is important in business as well - to help spark innovation, influence perceptions and inspire stakeholders and customers to believe in an organization's values and brand. Gordon will share with ICC attendees practical, yet fun, tools and processes that build storytelling skills, that they can take back to the office and encourage feedback, collaboration and shape a culture of creativity.
In addition to his animation work, Gordon has been teaching animation/storytelling classes since 2000. Four-time developer and leader of the vaunted Pixar animation internship, he is also a co-founder of The Animation Collaborative and the animation programs at both California College of the Arts and One Academy. Gordon has worked with companies around the world, bringing creativity to clients including Salesforce, Pinterest, Deloitte and IDEO.
Gordon studied animation in Vancouver and New York and, prior to his work at Pixar, worked at Warner Classics. He was awarded Outstanding Character Animation in an Animated Motion Picture by the Visual Effects Society for his work in “Finding Nemo” and recently received the Brand Personality Award in Animation.
