Poland Zloty weaken ahead of key policy vote

The Poland zloty is seemed to be underperforming currency in recent days. The PLN-HUF is declined to 73.30 yesterday from its early-November peak of around 74.50.

There is a clear indication of the new PiS government's intention that it may let the budget deficit to widen by PLN 1-2bn during 2016 in order to accommodate its priority policies, says Commerzbank. 

Prime Minister Beata Szydlo is expected to present her government's economic policy today morning. She will seek a confidence vote to execute her policy later this evening.

The child benefit scheme seems to be implemented soon. Moreover, this scheme will be financed by offsetting taxes, such as the bank and supermarket tax.
