Purse.io, a leading online marketplace for digital currencies, has introduced a new service ‘Purse Pre’ which will allow customers to order all of the hottest pre-order technologies and consumer electronics from a single website.

Pre-orders quite often face several problems such as shipping delays, technical issues or outright failures. More often than not customers are left with neither the refund nor the product. Even the consumer protection provided by credit cards only lasts 90 days. Purse aims to make the process of pre-ordering items hassle free for shoppers.

Purse Pre safeguards consumer funds until products actually ship. It uses bitcoin technology and the world’s most trustworthy escrow system for digital currency, ensuring that orders are either perfectly fulfilled or customers get all their money back.

Based in San Francisco, Purse announced in December that it raised $1 million in seed funding in a round led by investor Barry Silbert’s Digital Currency Group.
