Samsung's Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro Prices Leaked Ahead of Launch, Maintaining Affordability with Enhanced Features
In a recent report by SamMobile, Samsung is eagerly anticipating unveiling two new wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, next week. A new source revealed the prices of these highly awaited earbuds for the South Korean market before the official launch.
Samsung is maintaining the pricing strategy for its upcoming wireless earbuds. In South Korea, the Galaxy Buds 3 will be priced at KRW 203,700 ($148) and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at KRW 296,700 ($215), as revealed by a screenshot shared by tipster Sleep Kuma (@Kuma_Sleepy). These prices are remarkably similar to those of the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at their launch.
The image discloses the model numbers and designs of Samsung's two forthcoming wireless earphones. The Galaxy Buds 3 is available in black and white and is designated with the model number SM-R530. The model number SM-R630 identifies the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which is visible in its white avatar.
In recent weeks, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have been the subject of leaks, including their designs and features. Samsung has significantly altered the designs of these wireless earbuds compared to their predecessors. They are equipped with stems, similar to the AirPods and the AirPods Pro.
According to prior reports, the Galaxy Buds 3 series will incorporate a wireless codec that operates at a higher fidelity, with a 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission. They will also possess enhanced ANC, extended battery life, gestures, and increased durability.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to Feature Enhanced 24-bit 96KHz Audio, Promising Superior Sound Quality for Audiophiles
Samsung's wireless earbuds are among the most exceptional on the market, with each iteration delivering enhanced audio quality. The SSC Hi-Fi audio codec was introduced with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. It can provide an even superior codec with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
It is already evident that Samsung will significantly alter the design of its wireless earbuds with the Galaxy Buds 3 series. Samsung's Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will now feature superior audio quality, as confirmed by informant Ice Universe. The informant asserts that the earbuds will provide 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission, consistent with a previous report.
If this information is accurate, it represents an improvement over the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro's 24-bit 48KHz audio transmission. It should enable the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to receive near-lossless audio from Samsung's phones. Samsung's decision may be well-received by audiophiles. Nevertheless, based on the company's history, this codec will be restricted to Galaxy phones and devices.
It is still being determined whether this audio codec will be referred to as SSC Hi-Fi or receive a new name.
