‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 Update: Is Series Now In Production? Adult Swim Signs New Deal With Channel 4

Rick and Morty

The highly anticipated “Rick and Morty” season 4 is coming to UK’s Channel 4 and it will be an exclusive release since Adult Swim just signed a new deal with the said broadcasting network. As part of the new deal, other shows of the American animation company will also be viewable on channel 4, E4 and All 4.

Moreover, the previous three seasons of “Rick and Morty” will also be released on E4 starting this February. With this arrangement, it will be the first time that the adult animation is airing for free on TV in the U.K.

Now, there is another exciting news for fans of the show, it seems that “Rick and Morty” season 4 will be returning soon as one of its animators confirmed that they are back to work. This means that it is likely that the fourth season would be completed soon since everyone involved in its production are in full blast right now.

On Jan. 11, Eric Bofa Nfon, one of the animators at Bardel Entertainment animation studio, tweeted that he and his colleagues had a meeting and back to finishing “Rick and Morty” season 4. The company is based in Canada and it is in charge of the animating the cartoon series.

“Casual Meeting. First week back! Feels great,” he tweeted. Nfon also wrote the hashtag #RaM4 which indicates that this is the work he is referring to. Likewise, his tweet is good news because it only means that the release date is coming closer.

Finally, “Rick and Morty” season 4 has no actual premiere date yet but since Adult Swim is known to be fond of surprise releases, it is possible that it will not announce the show’s release date at all. Perhaps, the fans will just know that it has arrived when it is already playing on TV. They did this before and they can do it again, right?
