DALLAS, Oct. 31, 2016 -- Rocky Mountain High Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:RMHB), a fully reporting consumer goods company specializing in brand development of health conscious, hemp-infused food and beverage products and high alkaline water has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Statewide Beverage Company. The Company has recently completed the initial product shipment of six trailers of its line-up of hemp-infused beverages to Statewide Beverage Company in Los Angeles.
Statewide Beverage Company distributes a full line of beverages including water, carbonated beverages, juices and functional drinks along with beer and wine to a very large foot print from Santa Barbara all the way down to the Mexican border, covering retailers across Southern California. Statewide’s fast growing customer base includes over 4,000 chains and independent convenience stores and supermarkets.
Alex Aladort, Vice President of Sales at Statewide Beverage, said, “Statewide Beverage Company is thrilled to offer a complete lineup of Rocky Mountain High products. We feel this is a tremendous opportunity to offer hemp-infused products in which we anticipate will become the hottest new beverage category since the introduction of energy drinks. If health concerns are the main reason consumers choose not to purchase energy drinks, adding hemp to the mix and reducing caffeine levels could put weary consumers at ease. With the country’s increasing acceptance of marijuana, hemp-infused energy drinks, while THC Free and 100% legal, could ‘fuel’ the energy drink market’s growth.”
Jeff Javidzad, CEO of Statewide Beverage Company, stated, “From mainstream to the hottest drinks, we continue to team up with the best our industry has to offer.”
Michael Welch, President and CEO of Rocky Mountain High Brands, said, “We are extremely excited about this strategic partnership and look forward to working closely with Statewide in growing distribution and delivering hemp-infused beverages throughout Southern California. With over 22 million people, the Southern California market represents 60% of the state’s population and is one of the 11 megaregions of population in the United States. Statewide Beverage, with its impressive client list, can open the gateway to market penetration with virtually all of the big players in the retail market.”
