Russia to host blockchain hackathon on 17-18 September

InspiRussia, a successful continuation of InspirAsia established by Life.SREDA team in Singapore has announced to host a blockchain hackathon on 17-18 September at Innopolis City in Russia.

The event website stated that this interdisciplinary venue is open-ended and supposed to bring together engineers, entrepreneurs, business students, creators, and designers. The event focuses on fintech and gets support from IBM, Life.SREDA and industry professionals.

“The fintech industry is developing rapidly. We are ready and willing to invest our expertise and resources into promising projects. The hackathon is an excellent opportunity to gather a team and turn your ideas into a working prototype. We will be happy to see as many as possible ambitious and promising teams and individuals passionate about fintech and blockchain,” Maxim Avdeev, CEO of InspiRussia said as reported by coinfox.com.

The two days of intensive and organized event will dedicate to solve industry-related issues and will also comprise of a party and networking gala. The features of the hackathon include a pool of industry professionals; gifts from industry leaders like IBM, Microsoft; a pool of industry rookies who wish to join participants’ dream team, crowd funding options, and opportunity to pitch in Singapore environment, among others.

The participating teams during the hackathon will have 24 hours to create a project from scratch, from a mere concept to a working prototype. The event sponsors will provide the teams with ready-made API and SDK. Voting will be carried out and recorded on the blockchain, coinfox.com report added.
