Russian-based education center Digital October that conducts courses with the industry’s best leaders and experts, has announced a course on blockchain technology – Blockchain Weekend – that will take place on 18-19 February, 2017.
The blockchain course will explore the technology and its potentials to change all the industries, ways to implement it, among others. The two-day training session will also enable attendees to learn when customers move to digital currency, why notary seal will become a vestige and how blockchain will protect their businesses from scams.
The course is being supported by WAVES, a decentralized blockchain platform focusing on custom blockchain tokens operations. The course is targeted on CEOs’ in order to understand what is blockchain and how to implement it in their business, investors’ to access the potentials of the technology in promising areas, young professionals in the industry to increase the competence and inculcating new blockchain skills, law professionals, and other potential candidates who would immensely benefit from the course.
The course will teach business optimization on how implementing blockchain would reduce the costs of accounting, and document management, transaction processing, and others. It will also cover thesaurus to understand what smart contracts cryptocurrency and distributed database are, successful use cases of blockchain technology, mastering the technical and IT-aspects that are needed to get started with blockchain, among others.
The enrolled candidates will also learn planning and development of business with blockchain technology, monitoring blockchain ecosystem, how to attract investments in the business project, how to reduce costs using distributed ledger, among others.
The Blockchain Weekend course is being taught by experienced experts in the industry including Alexander Ivanov, CEO and founder at WAVES platform; Stanislav Polozov, head of Emercoin platform; Marina Guryev, deputy head of HSE innovation and strategic expert Constantine Goldstein.
Other Digital October course weekend series include ‘Biotech Weekend’, ‘AI Weekend’, ‘Big Data’, ‘Developer Java/Scala’, among others. By the end of the course, students will get complementary tickets for the BlockShow Europe 2017 conference, to be held on April 6, 2017 in Munich.
