Samsung is slated to announce new laptops at the 2022 Mobile World Congress (MWC) this weekend, and one of them is expected to be the successor of Galaxy Book Pro 360. Tech fans may already have a first look at the rumored device as a set of render images leaked from a well-known source.
The images come from noted leaker Steve “OnLeaks” Hemmerstoffer and GizNext, showing that there are no design changes to expect between the Galaxy Book Pro 2 360 and its predecessor. Some speculated on the possibility of seeing a display notch on future Samsung laptops after Apple did it with the 2021 MacBook Pros and especially after Samsung added the same feature on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The leak, however, suggests that is not the case.
Samsung’s unannounced laptop is reportedly codenamed “mars 2.” While the overall appearance looks the same as its predecessor, the same report noted that the trackpad looks bigger than the first Galaxy Book Pro 360.

The leak says it is still uncertain if it will be officially called Galaxy Book Pro 2 360, but the device has been dubbed as such since the render images show it will still feature a 360-degree convertible design. The laptop shown in the leak is expected to sport a ~15-inch display. But it was not mentioned if Samsung is also planning to offer a 13-inch model.
From the same leaked images, the Galaxy Book Pro 2 360 appears to have three USB Type-C ports, a built-in microSD card reader, and a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the report said there is no indication yet that the laptop will support S Pen functions. But considering Samsung has promised to bring stylus support to more of its products, it is still a possible feature for the upcoming laptop.
Samsung is set to host another event, this time as part of the MWC, where the company is confirmed to unveil three PCs, likely including the Galaxy Book Pro 2 360. The presentation takes place on Sunday, Feb. 27 with a live broadcast on its website and official YouTube channel.
