Fans will be glad to know that the manga is back this week and “Seven Deadly Sins” Chapter 285 is likely going to be an emotional read after what happened in the previous episode. To help Meliodas and Ban escape from the Demon King with their emotions intact, Wild decided to sacrifice himself with a technique he called Wild Full Throttle, and the upcoming chapter will likely open with the aftermath of his sacrifice.
Meliodas and Ban should finally escape from Purgatory in “Seven Deadly Sins” Chapter 285, but they paid a high price for their freedom. It is sad that Wild will never get the chance to see his little brother again after he used up all his life force to hold off the Demon King. The good thing is that he knows that Hawk has friends who will take care of him.
Wild hasn’t been in the manga long enough for many to consider him an important character, but some readers still like the way he was introduced in the story. In fact, others are still holding on to the hope that Wild may have survived the encounter.
“Poor Wild! I actually felt sad when he sacrificed himself. I've really got to like his character, and you could really tell he had become close friends with Meliodas and Ban. I've really been enjoying these bonding chapters in Purgatory with this trio. A part of me wishes we could have had more chapters with them,” a reader said in the “Seven Deadly Sins” Reddit discussion board.
“Until proven otherwise I will believe Wild will recover and he just sacrificed his ticket to the real world is all. Leaving open the chance of a reunion with Hawk later,” another added.
Now that they are back in the real world, Meliodas and Ban should reunite with the other Sins in “Seven Deadly Sins” Chapter 285 and they will tell Hawk about the brother he never knew he had. The chapter is scheduled to come out on Oct. 17.
