GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 10, 2018 -- SharpSpring, Inc. (NASDAQ:SHSP), a global provider of cloud-based marketing technologies, secured a record 266 new customers for its flagship marketing automation platform during the fourth quarter of 2017.
At quarter-end, the company had 1,428 agency partners and more than 6,700 businesses using its marketing automation platform. Recurring revenue from the new customer additions over the first year are expected to be approximately $1.9 million.
“In addition to another consecutive new sales record for SharpSpring, the fourth quarter reinforced the effectiveness of our increased sales and marketing outreach, building on the positive results we began seeing in Q3,” said company CEO Rick Carlson. “Our improving performance continues to be driven by an increasingly robust customer pipeline and consistently strong sales execution.”
“As we enter the new year, the state of our business is stronger than ever. With the introduction of social media management tools and the advanced visual workflow builder, our product has never been more competitive. We continue to build upon our brand’s reputation as the very best value in the industry, and the clear choice for digital marketing agencies. Rather than remain satisfied with a solid end to the year, we are highly motivated to continue executing on our objectives to increase leads and optimize our sales and marketing machine to ultimately drive long-term growth and value for our shareholders.”
SharpSpring plans to report its complete financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2017 in March. The conference call details will be announced approximately a week prior to the call.
