TRUSTECH 2016, the largest event dedicated to trust-based technologies, will be presenting a 3-day event from 29th November to 1st December this year at Cannes, France with a conference focused on blockchain technology.
The event offers unrivaled networking & business opportunities and a complete line up of thought leader speakers. The conference focused on blockchain titled “The Future of Blockchain” will take place on 1st December that will demonstrate considerable potential of blockchain technology in many areas including the financial sector, automotive,IoT, health, among others.
“Even if the blockchain is probably the hottest ‘buzzword’ of the year, the technology is far from being mature. However, it offers considerable potential for the industry. Even though it still needs to progress notably on regulatory and technical levels, the blockchain will eventually and undoubtedly accelerate its adoption rate in other sectors than finance,” Jean-Noël Georges, Global Program Director, Research Manager at Frost & Sullivan, who will chair the conference, said in a release.
The event will comprise of over 400 exhibitors, 18,000 attendees, 250+ speakers. Apart from blockchain, industry experts will speak on trending topics including fintech, data management, E-ID, and E- Governments. The event will see potential speakers including J.B. Straubel, co-founder & CTO of Tesla Motors; Timothée Mangenot, President of Eurosmart; Lazaro Campos, advisor on FinTech Innovation; Erik Meierhoff, Head of Business Development EU at Rakuten, among others.
TRUSTECH, in partnership with Juniper Research, has presented a graphic report focused on the distributed ledger technology that addresses on cryptocurrencies and its challenges, future applications of blockchain and VC investments.
The event was first held over thirty years ago under the name “CARTES Secure Connexions”, to promote the new-born technology of smartcards. Now it has been re-named “TRUSTECH (incorporating CARTES)”, to better reflect the way the industry and the event have evolved, and its focus on trust-based technologies.
