“The Blacklist” season 6 episode 4 is up next, and we could be expecting a complicated story. This is because Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) is still not aware that it was Elizabeth “Liz” Keene (Megan Boone) who sold him to the authorities. The truth will also create conflicts as the latter has kept this secret not just from Red but from the whole FBI team she belongs in.
It is confirmed that Liz is the traitor Red is looking for. However, since he does not know the truth, he even asked his “daughter” to find out who stabbed him in the back in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 4. Previously, she alerted the police about Red’s whereabouts for the authorities have been looking for him for decades. Unfortunately, it was Liz who had to betray him because she now suspects him of killing the real Red Reddington.
Now, with Red in jail, Liz and her sister Jennifer continue their quest for truth by investigating how the real Red had died and what the imposter Red could have done to him. Then again, the sisters could uncover more from their investigations so explosive details and revelations could be coming up in “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 4.
In any case, “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 4 will feature the episode called “The Pawnbrokers." Per NBC press release, its official synopsis reads: “Red acclimates to his new surroundings in federal prison, where he is challenged by an old rival. Samar (Mozhan Marnò) goes undercover to stop a black market organization that fronts cash to criminals."
The upcoming new episode will also feature Liz and Jennifer (guest star Fiona Dourif) as they continue their investigation into Red's past. “The Blacklist” season 6 episode 4 will air on Jan. 18 at 9 p.m. on NBC. Watch the promo trailer below:
