Over the recent weeks, more clues about the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11T series are showing up online. To stop fans from speculating any further, the company confirmed that it is hosting its fall launch event next month.
Xiaomi Mi 11T release date
Xiaomi announced on its official Twitter page that it will conduct another event on Wednesday, Sept. 15. The online post is also very clear that it will be focused on a new product launch.
The announcement did not provide any clue on what product will be announced next month. But considering Xiaomi’s annual schedule of launches in previous years, it is reasonable to assume that the September event could focus on the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi 11T series.
We promise this will be an exciting moment for all of you!

Well-known leaker Abhishek Yadav also shared another Xiaomi promo poster that confirms the imminent arrival of the Mi Pad Pro 5. It has then led fans to believe that the September announcement could be about more than just new smartphones. In a follow-up tweet, Yadav suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 11T, Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro, and Xiaomi Mi 11T Lite could be included in the event. However, he noted that the last model has not yet made an appearance in any certification databases.
It is also interesting that the September event was announced on Xiaomi’s global social media channel. It could be an indication that the products to be announced next month, which most likely include Xiaomi Mi 11T phones, would immediately launch outside China.
Xiaomi Mi 11T rumored specs
A few days before Xiaomi confirmed its launch event next month, a popular Weibo leaker posted a few details on the supposed technical specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro. The tipster said the base model will sport a 120Hz display and will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset. Its main camera will be a 64MP sensor, but details about the other camera lenses are missing.
As for the Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro, the same source claims it would ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888+ and will have an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate as well. The Pro model is expected to sport a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capability.
