My research focus is East Asian politics (domestic and international), with a focus on Taiwan and South Korea, with broader interests on electoral reform, US-East Asia relations, and electoral politics globally. I have published over 40 peer-reviewed publications and over 40 news or academic/policy pieces for websites in the US, Taiwan, the UK, and more. I also frequently publish with undergraduates.
