Deon Neveling is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Biochemistry at Stellenbosch University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology in 2018 from Stellenbosch University.
His doctoral research focussed on designing broiler specific probiotics which can improve animal health. Currently, his research focus is on coenzyme-A biology with the focus on drug discovery. His research interests are bacterial taxonomy, probiotic development, antimicrobial drug discovery, nanotechnology, and biosensors. He has published 14 peer-reviewed publications and 3 patents.
