A Russian drone strike at Dnipro’s main railway station killed 13 people and wounded at least five others as a commuter train was preparing to depart, Reuters reported Thursday, citing Ukrainian officials.

The rail operator said the service for Zaporizhzhia was still at Dnipro when the jet-powered drone hit.

Ukrzaliznytsia said people remained on the platform despite a heightened-danger warning and that rescue crews were there.

Regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported on Telegram that at least five other people were wounded. Reuters said Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov also reported deaths and injuries on Telegram.
