With new applications closed and no date given for when card functions will end, 1inch is urging users of its payment card to move any remaining balance by Dec. 18, 2026, as the program winds down.
The date is 1inch’s recommendation for moving funds, not a deadline for card use. Current cardholders can still use their cards and access their accounts, the company says.
1inch says Monavate, the issuer, and Crypto Life, the provider, will determine when card functions end. Monavate issues the electronic wallets that hold card balances. The issuer and provider are Monavate Ltd and Baanx Group Ltd in the UK, and UAB Monavate and Frozen Time UNIPESSOAL LDA in the EU, respectively.
Crypto Life handles questions about balances, account closures and card status. If a cardholder contacts Crypto Life support and receives no response, 1inch says it can escalate the request. It cannot change an individual card account.
1inch says applicable issuer terms allow remaining funds to be redeemed for up to six years after an account closes. A document titled Monavate Business Debit Card Terms, which describes its customer as a corporate customer, provides for redemption fees. It also permits continuing deductions beginning 12 months after the agreement ends and lasting until the funds are redeemed.
For cardholders, the next date 1inch has specified is its Dec. 18 recommendation to move funds. It has not given a date for card functions to stop.
