Binance’s perpetual-futures market recorded a $3.48 million Ether (ETH) long liquidation, an event that marks a forced close in derivatives trading rather than a spot-market sale.

The liquidation occurred at 9:38 p.m. ET Oct. 25 (01:38 UTC Oct. 26), with $2,312 as the liquidation price. The $3.48 million amount refers to the size of this individual position.

Perpetual futures are derivatives contracts, so the event did not involve a spot Ether sale. The record covers one long position and does not give a total for other liquidations.

Ether traded at $2,310.63, down 2.10% over 24 hours, as of 02:21 UTC Oct. 26.

Binance recorded another Ether perpetual-futures long liquidation on Oct. 20, valued at $11.83 million with a $2,433 liquidation price, EconoTimes reported. That separate position was covered in an earlier EconoTimes report. The two records concern separate events, not a combined liquidation.
