“For more than a decade, ASCD has been producing award-winning videos that take educators right into the classroom to learn the most effective, research-based teaching practices in education,” said Robb Clouse, ASCD managing director of digital content and publications. “As educators face additional demands on their time, ASCD Streaming gives educators the flexibility they need to bring school improvement ideas and strategies to life.”
In a 2016 survey, ASCD found that educators are increasingly relying on digital content, due in part to accessibility. As a cloud-based platform, ASCD Streaming lets educators browse, sample, and view the best of ASCD’s video library on their desktop computers, tablets, or mobile devices.
Short- and long-term rental options are available, as are individual title, annual, and enterprise subscriptions. Flexibility in mobile platform accessibility offers subscribers instant access in today’s fast-paced world of professional learning.
More than 40 titles of affordably priced content are currently available, including Carol Ann Tomlinson’s best-selling Differentiated Instruction in Action and Baruti Kafele’s award-winning Motivating Black Males to Achieve in School and in Life. Additional titles are forthcoming.
Rental of individual videos or a full-year subscription to all content is available.
- $14.95—Two-day rental of a single title (48 hours from purchase)
- $24.95—Four-month rental of a single title
- $39.95—Full-year rental of a single title
- $995—Full-year subscription (per-building option for up to 75 users; single sign on; bulk rates also available)
