ASELSAN said it secured a $1.1 billion air defense export contract, a deal worth more than half its first-nine-month export contracts and expected to support company revenue.
In a Nov. 3 filing to Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform, the Turkish defense company described the customer as international but did not name it. The filing identifies the equipment as air defense systems but does not identify the specific systems or provide delivery dates.
ASELSAN reported $1.9 billion in new export contracts through September, up 34% from a year earlier, and an order backlog of $30.7 billion. The Nov. 3 agreement was announced after that reporting period and is not included in the nine-month total.
The company disclosed a separate air defense export contract worth €488.5 million on Oct. 2. That filing also did not identify the buyer.
