Acushnet Holdings Corp. reported a 1.3% decline in third-quarter net sales as lower FootJoy golf wear and golf gear sales outweighed a small gain in Titleist equipment, while it kept its 2026 sales outlook.
Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 totaled $649.2 million, compared with $657.7 million in the same period last year. On a constant-currency basis, the decline was 0.6%, Acushnet said, compared with a 1.3% reported decrease.
Diluted earnings per share increased to $0.83 from $0.81. Attributable net income reached $49.2 million, 1.4% above the year-earlier quarter. The quarterly picture was mixed: equipment sales advanced, while lower sales in golf wear and gear pulled down the total.
Titleist golf equipment sales rose 0.5%. FootJoy golf wear sales fell 7.5%, and golf gear sales declined 9.5%. Lower volumes were the primary cause of both declines, partly offset by higher average selling prices in FootJoy and, for golf gear, in golf bags.
Acushnet President and Chief Executive Officer David Maher linked the Q3 comparison partly to the GTS metals launch taking place in Q2.
Acushnet left its 2026 consolidated net-sales forecast at about $2.65 billion to $2.675 billion. It expects sales to grow 3.3% to 4.2% on a constant-currency basis. The full-year sales range therefore remains unchanged despite the quarterly decline.
The revised adjusted EBITDA range sets a $455 million floor while retaining the $470 million ceiling.
Acushnet said its 2026 outlook includes about $30 million in IEEPA tariff refunds, net of the impact on incentive compensation, expected to be recognized in 2026.
