Adani Enterprises reported a 62% rise in consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the July-September 2026 quarter, while consolidated profit attributable to owners fell 55% against a prior-year quarter that included an exceptional item.
Total income was ₹38,023 crore, up 74% from ₹21,844 crore a year earlier. The unaudited filing for the quarter ended Sept. 30 listed revenue from operations separately at ₹37,215.62 crore, an increase of 75.1%. EBITDA reached ₹6,316 crore, compared with ₹3,902 crore in Q2 FY26.
Profit attributable to owners was ₹1,492 crore, down from ₹3,304 crore. Adani reported a ₹3,583 crore exceptional item in Q2 FY26 and none in the latest quarter. Pretax profit excluding exceptional items advanced 146% to ₹2,002 crore from ₹814 crore, according to the company’s investor presentation.
The company linked higher EBITDA and pretax profit in its established businesses to the copper plant’s production ramp-up and positive commodity-price movements. The facility operated at about 64% of annual capacity and sold 80,600 tonnes of copper, compared with 11,800 tonnes a year earlier. Copper EBITDA was ₹1,283 crore, following a ₹151 crore loss in Q2 FY26.
The airport business recorded total income of ₹3,786 crore, up 20%, and EBITDA of ₹1,641 crore, up 55%. Adani attributed the increase to higher non-aeronautical income. The company also said new TopCon solar module capacity of 4.3 gigawatts went into service in September, lifting overall module capacity to 10 gigawatts. AdaniConnex received a 240-megawatt data-center order in Navi Mumbai, taking cumulative tied-up capacity above 1.2 gigawatts.
Shah Dhandharia & Co LLP’s review of the consolidated results gave a modified conclusion, citing ongoing legal proceedings involving Mumbai International Airport Ltd. The report referred to investigations by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and a Central Bureau of Investigation chargesheet concerning alleged misuse of ₹845.76 crore in works contracts. The contracts had a net book value of ₹409.28 crore, the report said.
Adani’s investor calendar tentatively lists Jan. 28, 2027, for a Q3 FY27 board meeting and says the date may change.
