Adidas introduced its eagerly anticipated SS24 Paris Collection, designed specifically for the rigors and demands of the clay court tennis season.
This 15-piece collection stands out for its innovative design, which enhances performance on clay courts, and for celebrating Move For The Planet, Adidas' initiative that champions environmental sustainability through collective movement.
Technology and Comfort at the Forefront
According to a press release, at the core of the SS24 Paris Collection are eight pieces of apparel and footwear engineered to offer players the utmost comfort and mobility during the challenging clay court games.
The collection incorporates Adidas' cutting-edge HEAT.RDY technology uses breathable and lightweight fabrics to ensure players remain cool and comfortable under the seasonably warm conditions synonymous with Parisian clay courts.
Enhancing mobility, the collection features FreeLift Construction, a unique paneled fabric design under the arms, allowing for greater freedom of movement and preventing clothing hems from riding up during play.
Minimalistic Design, Maximum Impact
Eschewing prints for a more refined aesthetic, the collection achieves visual impact through striking color blocking, engineered paneling, and textured fabrics, per The News Market.
A palette of white and black emulates the iconic lines of tennis courts, with black bonding seams adding a sleek, polished look. An energizing Orange 'Spark' color runs throughout the collection, intending to inject joy and vitality into high-pressure matches.
Hero Pieces and Athlete Endorsements
The collection features standout items for both men and women, tailored to meet the specific needs of clay court play. Women's hero pieces include the Tennis HEAT.RDY Y-Dress Pro and the Tennis HEAT.RDY Cropped Long-Sleeve Pro, each designed for optimal mobility and comfort.
The men's selections highlight the Tennis HEAT.RDY FreeLift Henley Pro and the Tennis HEAT.RDY Ergo Short Pro 7 Inch ensures freedom of movement and a secure, distraction-free fit.
Elina Svitolina, a 2023 Paris quarter-finalist, praised the collection for supporting dynamic play on clay's demanding surface, emphasizing the importance of comfort and mobility in high-intensity matches.

The SS24 Paris Collection, including sizes ranging from XS to 2XL for men and 2XS to 2XL for women, will be available for purchase on Adidas.com and through the Adidas app starting April 1, 2024.
