Aditya Birla Capital, an Indian financial services company, reported consolidated profit growth of 38% to ₹1,287.68 crore for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, as lending disbursements also increased.
Profit after tax was ₹1,287.68 crore, compared with ₹933.52 crore in the same quarter a year earlier. At its Oct. 30 meeting, the board approved unaudited results for the three and six months through Sept. 30, 2026, on a standalone and consolidated basis.
Lending assets under management, or AUM, for the nonbanking financial company and housing finance businesses reached ₹2,33,930 crore at Sept. 30, up 32% year over year and 7% from the previous quarter. The lending total covers those two credit businesses, while the other AUM figure tracks asset management and insurance operations. AUM for asset management, life insurance and health insurance totaled ₹12,33,906 crore, 2.2 times the year-earlier amount. They represent separate business groups within the company's broader financial services portfolio.
For the first half of FY27, first-year individual life insurance premiums were ₹2,342 crore and health insurance gross written premiums totaled ₹4,543 crore, according to the company.
Statutory revenue from operations was ₹14,003.21 crore. Separately, consolidated segment revenue came to ₹16,545 crore, an annual increase of 31%. The company’s release distinguishes this segment figure from statutory revenue: it includes asset management, wellness and health insurance activities that are reflected through equity accounting rather than consolidated in statutory Ind AS results.
Operating disclosures showed growth in both lending businesses. The nonbanking financial company recorded disbursements of ₹24,708 crore, 12% higher year over year, and profit before tax of ₹1,352 crore, up 41%. Housing finance disbursements totaled ₹8,957 crore, a 55% rise, while profit before tax increased 73% to ₹335 crore.
Press Trust of India (PTI) reported that the company’s shares finished 1.75% higher at ₹366.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Oct. 30.
