Akropolis Group reported higher revenue, earnings and profit in the first half of 2026, with results now including its Galio Group property development acquisition and broadening its Baltic real estate business.
The group signed a seven-year, €130 million loan with Swedbank, with most of the proceeds earmarked to replace a five-year facility from 2022 to Ozo turtas, which manages Vilnius Akropolis.
Akropolis Group Director Gabrielė Sapon said the new financing was arranged about a year before the old loan was due for repayment. She said the timing reduces uncertainty and helps the group plan long-term investments and development. Sapon also described Swedbank as a partner of about 25 years, dating the relationship to construction of the first Akropolis center in Vilnius.
Swedbank Lithuania business banking head Ignas Mačeika said the bank's data showed spending at physical stores this year rose 13% in Lithuania, 6% in Latvia and 4% in Estonia. He said the figures point to potential in the shopping center market.
Akropolis Group reported consolidated revenue of €81.6 million for the first half of 2026, up 29% from a year earlier. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased 28% to €56.6 million, while net profit rose 21% to €37 million. The company said its consolidated results have included Galio Group's figures since October 2025, following its acquisition of the property developer that year.
The group says its growth plan combines upgrading current properties with developing new projects. It operates five shopping and entertainment centers in Lithuania and Latvia and is expanding into residential and commercial real estate through Galio Group. Akropolis Group said S&P Global Ratings affirmed its BB+ long-term credit rating with a stable outlook at the end of 2025. It also said Fitch Ratings reaffirmed a BB+ rating in 2026 for the sixth consecutive year.
