Sottile began his career at Reid Rowell Laboratories, which later became Solvay Pharmaceuticals and ultimately AbbVie. On the pharmaceutical manufacturers side of the industry, Sottile held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, sales training and development, along with brand management before pursuing opportunities on the pharmaceutical services side. His services experience includes companies such as Boron LePore and Associates; Curry, Martin and Schiavelli; inVentiv Health; Ashfield Commercial and Medical; and HealthSTAR Clinical Education Solutions. Within these organizations, Sottile served as National Business Director, Executive Director of Sales Operations, Vice President of Sales Teams, and Executive Vice President of Business Development. He delivered outsourced contract sales and clinical team operational excellence along with business growth.
Alamo and BexR welcome Sottile as he brings experience and perspective to providing quality services and tailored solutions to both existing and future clients.
The industry is evolving as Sottile joins Peter Marchesini, Alamo Chief Operating Officer, and the company’s Executive Director, Strategic Alliances, Krista Pinto. Together the team will focus on bringing Alamo’s personal approach and flexible outsourced sales solutions to the ever evolving pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
“I am pleased to work again with Tom,” notes Marchesini. “He will be a great addition in support of our existing clients while also representing our unique organization to pharmaceutical and biotech companies who may not know they are going to be our partners yet! Adding Tom to the wealth of talent and experience we already have with Krista Pinto, positions Alamo Pharma Services to meet the needs of more companies, as they explore their commercialization options.”
Supporting BexR, Sottile joins Dan Harmon, the company’s General Manager and Vice President of Business Development. Through positioning BexR’s telesales customer contact center and third-party logistics (3PL) capabilities, Sottile will help customers maximize results by leveraging impactful and efficient telesales and 3PL solutions respectively.
“The addition of Tom to our BexR team by way of Alamo comes at the perfect time,” says Harmon. “BexR continues to invest in infrastructure, software solutions, and talent. Tom clearly fits our talent profile with his experience, industry relationships, and professionalism. He is a welcome addition to our team and will definitely help us accelerate our growth in the market. We’re happy to have him on board.”
