An Alien ID can be associated with any Solana wallet under a feature announced by @alienorg; its stated goal is to help determine whether a person is using an address. Solana amplified the announcement.

World ID also appears in products from Okta, Vercel, Exa and Browserbase, where services can check whether an AI agent has a human sponsor or whether a person authorized a specific action. EconoTimes previously covered World ID verification tools for banks, a different use of human checks. That earlier coverage concerned banking services; @alienorg’s announcement concerns wallet addresses.
