Allied Blenders and Distillers lifted quarterly net profit 9.7% as sales reached a company record, while a lower EBITDA margin showed how planned investment and supply-chain disruptions weighed on operating gains.
The company reported consolidated net profit of 690.2 million rupees for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, up from a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 6.8% to 20.85 billion rupees. The board approved the unaudited results Oct. 27.
Sales volume increased 11.1% to 10 million cases, compared with nine million a year earlier. It was the first time the company passed that quarterly threshold. Managing Director Amar Sinha said growth came from several segments. The company attributed higher portfolio volumes to all four of its “millionaire brands.”
Allied Blenders separately reported 11.52 billion rupees in income from operations, up 15.8%. It defines that measure as total income after deducting excise duty. Because it uses a different calculation from statutory revenue from operations, the two figures have different growth rates.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, rose 10% to 1.43 billion rupees. Its margin narrowed to 12.4% from 13.1% a year earlier. Gross margin, by contrast, increased to 45.3% from 44.4%. The company said planned spending on employees, core brands and its luxury portfolio outweighed that gross-margin improvement at the EBITDA level.
The company estimated that global supply-chain disruptions reduced EBITDA by 290 million rupees. It said EBITDA would have been 1.72 billion rupees, up 32.3% year over year, excluding that impact; this is a company-provided like-for-like comparison.
A filing index lists Allied Blenders’ Q2 FY27 earnings call for Oct. 28.
