NEW YORK, March 24, 2017 -- Dr. Ibrahim S. Elsheikh, Physician and President at Ibrahim S. Elsheikh, MD, Inc., has been selected to join the Physician Board at the American Health Council. He will be sharing his knowledge and expertise on Pediatrics and Patient Care.
With a decade of experience in the field of Pediatrics, Dr. Elsheikh offers valuable insight in his role as Physician and President at Ibrahim S. Elsheikh, MD, Inc. Located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Ibrahim S. Elsheikh, MD, Inc. offers exceptional pediatric care in a state-of-the-art facility. As the Physician and President at Ibrahim S. Elsheikh, MD, Inc., Dr. Elsheikh’s day-to-day responsibilities include the coordination of a private practice by providing an array of medical care for pediatric children ages 0-21. His scope of practice includes immunizations, pediatric diabetes, physicals, vaccinations, asthma, childhood obesity, bronchitis, common cold, concussion, constipation, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
In 2005, Dr. Elsheikh earned his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana – Dominican Republic. He completed his pediatric residency at the Case Western Reserve University – Metro Health in 2009. Subsequently, Dr. Elsheikh earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama in 2015. He is American Board Certified in Pediatrics and serves as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Elsheikh maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association and Obesity Medical Association.
Dr. Elsheikh’s desire to pursue the field of Pediatrics spawned from his desire to become a primary care doctor. He is proud to have his article “Risk Factors and Outcome of Ventilator Associated Tracheitis (VAT)" published in the 2013 Edition of Pediatric Trauma Patients.
In his free time, Dr. Elsheikh enjoys reading and exercising.
