NEW YORK, July 05, 2017 -- Dr. Vladimir Klebanov, Owner/Psychiatrist at Vladimir Klebanov, MD, has been selected to join the Physician Board at the American Health Council. He will be sharing his knowledge and expertise in General Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology.
Amassing over four decades of experience in the field of Psychiatry, Dr. Klehanov utilizes his expertise in his role as the Owner/Psychiatrist at Vladimir Klebanov, MD. Based in Brooklyn, New York/East Brunswick, New Jersey, Vladimir Klebanov, MD offers treatment for panic disorders, anxieties and phobias, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and depression, ADHD. Additionally, patients can receive behavior therapy through the means of relaxation and desensitization techniques; cognitive-supportive therapy, and brief-focus oriented therapy.
As the Owner/Psychiatrist at Vladimir Klebanov, MD, Dr. Klebanov’s day-to-day responsibilities include treating patients with mood disorders such as anxiety through psychotherapy. He assists patients recovering from chemical dependency and other substance-related threats as well as successfully managing patient’s medications.
Following graduation with a medical degree from First Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1972, Dr. Klebanov completed a residency in psychiatry at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center in 1990.
Looking back, Dr. Klebanov attributes his success to being attentive and treating patients with compassion. He became involved in the field of Psychiatry through a natural progression.
Dr. Klebanov maintains professional affiliations with The American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, and Maimonides Medical Center.
In his free time, Dr. Klebanov enjoys traveling. Originally from Uzbekistan, Dr. Klebanov is fluent in English and Russian.
Considering the future, he hopes for continuing in his private practice.
