A new tokenized share class gives investors a blockchain-based route into Amundi’s STOXX Europe 600 fund, with Ethereum used for issuance and European equities joining its digital offerings.

CACEIS supplied supporting infrastructure, and the tokenized option sits alongside the fund’s existing access channels. An earlier Amundi-CACEIS tokenized share class was linked to a euro money-market fund.

The STOXX Europe 600 draws on 600 companies in developed European markets, with constituents spanning different company sizes. This launch shifts Amundi’s tokenized fund activity from a money-market portfolio into European shares.

Institutional clients and digital platforms are the audiences Amundi has named for future tokenized funds. The company points to easier access, quicker settlement and more efficient operations as potential benefits.
