Two reported Solana mints of 250 million USD Coin (USDC) were dated Oct. 25 and Oct. 27; the USDC Treasury was named for the later batch, valued at about $250 million.

The report describes issuance on Solana but offers no account of later distribution. It therefore does not establish how many of the reported tokens entered circulation or reached a trading venue.

USDC has a U.S. dollar reference value and is used to settle transactions. EconoTimes previously covered a separate 250 million USDC mint on Solana dated Oct. 23, whose transaction entry showed token creation but did not establish what happened afterward.
