Anthropic’s economic model puts U.S. gross domestic product at $44.4 trillion in 2030 under its most extreme AI scenario, which assumes rapid advances and adoption.

The company’s modest and substantial cases put 2030 GDP at $34.1 trillion and $36.3 trillion, respectively, using 2025 prices.

For the extreme case, Anthropic models capital receiving 54.8% of output and labor 45.2%, compared with 40% and 60% today.

The company’s model also projects lower wages and job prospects for many knowledge workers, but says actual outcomes may differ materially.
