Pocket-lint.com reports that the Smart Battery Case has a battery element built into the case that would allow an iPhone user to increase his or her talk time of up to 25 hours, or surfing on a 4G connection for up to 18 hours. Moreover, the case, which comes in either charcoal or white, will have the iPhone owner slip it over the iPhone rather than bolting around it.
The site notes that for users who prefer a slimmer iPhone, the Smart Battery Case could add bulk and length into the smartphone. Scott Stein for CNET said although the battery case is being sold at USD99 in the US, EUR79 in the UK, and AUD165 in Australia, the 1,877 mAh battery capacity is touted to be more expensive than its counterparts in the market today. Mophie Juice Pack Reserve ($60) and Anker's Ultra Slim Extended Battery Case ($40) are similarly sized, and can be picked up on Amazon at USD60 and USD40 respectively, Stein wrote.
