Apple's Home Collection is due in December, with devices priced from $39.95 to $399.95 and market availability varying across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Apple's collection, created with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, was announced Oct. 13. The range spans thermostats and temperature sensors alongside a smart deadbolt, a video doorbell and indoor, outdoor and floodlight cameras. The U.S. and Canada are listed for the deadbolt and thermostats; camera and video doorbell listings also include the U.K. Some products are expected in early 2027, but the later arrivals have not been specified.

In the U.S., camera prices range from $199.95 for the indoor model to $399.95 for the floodlight version, with the outdoor camera at $299.95. Elsewhere in the lineup, temperature sensors start at $39.95, thermostats at $199.95, the video doorbell costs $249.95 and the deadbolt is $349.95.

Setup starts by placing an iPhone near an accessory; it can then be managed in the Home app without an additional app or account from the maker. Thread connectivity extends to every item. Matter also works with the thermostats, temperature sensors and deadbolt; the deadbolt additionally supports Aliro, and its basic unlocking functions remain usable when the internet is unavailable. Camera video tops out at 2.5K resolution. iCloud+ customers can review encrypted event recordings covering a 10-day period without buying an additional camera plan. Information in Home uses encryption that leaves neither Apple nor its development partners able to access it.

The additions would expand a catalog that already includes thousands of devices compatible with Apple Home and Matter. A separate HomeView smart-home display is scheduled for a Nov. 13 U.S. sale at $299, ahead of the collection's December launch.
