Arista Networks reported third-quarter revenue of $3.66 billion, up 58.5% year over year, and forecast fourth-quarter revenue of as much as $4 billion, setting out another quarter of expected growth.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.6576 billion, compared with $2.3083 billion in the same quarter last year. Net income rose to $1.5604 billion from $853 million. Diluted earnings per share increased to $1.22 from 67 cents.
For the fourth quarter, Arista expects revenue of $3.9 billion to $4 billion. It also projected a non-GAAP operating margin of 48% to 49% and non-GAAP diluted net income per share of $1.26 to $1.30.
Arista said it could not provide GAAP comparisons for its forward-looking non-GAAP margin and per-share earnings guidance because some excluded costs and tax effects are difficult to estimate.
The company disclosed the results in a Nov. 3 Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing lists Items 2.02 and 9.01 and includes Arista’s earnings release as Exhibit 99.1.
