Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, suggests Goatseus Maximus could be on the verge of a 10X price rally after gaining a key mention from Bloomberg’s Matt Levine, sparking market interest.
Arthur Hayes Bullish on GOAT Meme Coin
The co-founder of BitMEX, Arthur Hayes, has just expressed his optimism for Goatseus Maximus, the Solana joke coin, in an X post. He brought attention to an article that prominent Bloomberg journalist Matt Levine wrote lately, in which GOAT was referenced.
Hayes has praised the news, speculating that the crypto's price would rise due to the endorsement of a well-known personality, Coingape reports. He went on to say that dogwifhat (WIF), another popular Solana meme coin, had a tenfold increase in price after receiving mention in Matt Levine's piece.
Given this, market investors are eagerly awaiting a repeat performance, which could potentially lead to a tenfold increase in the price of GOAT. In addition, the co-founder of BitMEX concluded his post with a positive prediction for GOAT, adding gasoline to the fire of market speculation. The most current X post by Hayes, in particular, states:
Solana Meme Coins Gain Hayes’s Endorsement
Solana meme coin has previously received Hayes's enthusiastic endorsement. To put it in perspective, he made public his intention to wager on Goatseus Maximus not long after announcing his intention to reduce his holdings of meme coins due to market uncertainty. What this means is that Hayes is becoming more and more confident in the crypto's ability to rally in the days to come.
The price of GOAT was up more than 23% at $0.4482 as of this writing, while its trading volume was up 2.21 percent to $155.01 million. The cryptocurrency has been quite volatile recently, with a high of $0.4707 and a low of $0.3733 in the past 24 hours.
Volatility and High Risks for Meme Coin Investors
Investors should be cautious while putting their money on cheap tokens. That being said, there is typically a great deal of risk involved with the top meme coins, even though they have the potential to produce substantial gains in the near term.
Nevertheless, a large number of crypto traders have taken advantage of the launch of the new Solana meme currency and made a killing trading it. Even so, a new estimate of the Goatseus Maximus price suggests that the cryptocurrency might rise above $0.5.
